On April 21st The Hastings-on-Hudson Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire at a Church on Warburton Ave with an emotionally disturbed person on scene (EDP). Upon arrival The Police were on scene and had the EDP contained and the fire was extinguished. The fire was contained to the Church alter and the Church was full of smoke. The Fire Department used fans to clear the smoke condition. The HFD Ambulance with the Police transported the EDP to the hospital for evaluation. Our Department appreciate the mutual aid response from the Dobbs Ferry Fire Department.
