Together we constructed an apartment maze with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. Search teams forced entry, located the fire, and safely removed victims, all in coordination with the hose line advancement team that conducted fire suppression operations. We coordinated over radio to our roof vent team that initiated venting operations with the rotary saw.

In addition to working with our air packs, part of the training involves working in blackout conditions caused by smoke. We equip our search and hose teams with special opaque inserts for their SCBA masks to block light and simulate blackout conditions.
