Our Fire Department Volunteer Ambulance Corps is continuing to provide emergency medical services during the CORONA Virus crisis. The all volunteer EMT's and crew members are there for our community day or night. The same goes for the Fire Department who besides their normal duties support the Ambulance with decontamination of the EMS crews and equipment and carrying COVID patients out of their houses when they are immobile. As the Chief of the Hastings-on-Hudson Fire Department I am proud of our ALL VOLUNTEER EMTs, EMS Crews and Firefighters true LOCAL HERO's.

The pictures are of both FIRE and EMS members decontaminating the ambulance used to transport a COVID patient before it could be put back into service.
