| The Hastings-on-Hudson Fire Department responded to a structure fire at the Hastings Tennis Club on Sunday, October 18, at 11:11 AM. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy smoke coming from a detached utility shed connected to the north tennis bubble. The main building was exposed to intense heat, causing the siding to melt and nearly catch fire.
Thanks to the swift response by the Hastings-on-Hudson Fire Department and support from neighboring Rivertown Volunteer Fire Departments, the fire was contained to the mechanical shed and the north tennis bubble, preventing further damage to the property.
Thank you to the responding mutual aid departments and their members for all of their assistance.
